OllauriBriones was Ollauri village until the eighteenth century, when it gained independence as a municipality. Its urban area is one of the most beautiful in the region and in the streets the palaces in stone on two floors. In their facades look balconies with large hollow and coats of arms decorate these buildings. The parish church was built in the second half of the sixteenth century, its tower a century later. Above the town, and using the slope of the barks, arise tuferas or vents of the wineries are found underground. Some of these buildings date back to the Middle Ages. Others have a past Centennial and maintain the quality of the wines due to its constant temperature and constant humidity.
